CONGRATULATIONS SUE!!
We have another Swan River Chapter author and are hopeful of more books from Sue following her First Fleet family and the wider connections with other early settlers in Australia.
VALIANT HEARTS is a remarkable WWI historical novel whose true story is both harrowing and heartening.
We Joined author Sue Sacchero for an evening that celebrates the lives and sacrifices of Australian wartime families, while keeping alive memories that form part of the identity of our nation. Released by the cooperative WA imprint Yellow Teapot Books, this launch is the culmination of Sue Sacchero’s many years of research, study, travels and writing towards this goal; a novel that belies the difficulties that went into it.
A quick read of a couple of sections of the book when we got home has ensured it will be read cover to cover very shortly.
